Canada, Germany, the United States, Ireland, and the United Kingdom announced funding to support national adaptation planning and action in developing countries at COP26.
The Canadian government has announced that it will provide CAD 10 million in funding for the National Adaptation Plan Global Network to support developing countries in accelerating their efforts to build resilience to the impacts of climate change.
The Ministry of the Environment (MoE), through the Directorate of Climate Change, validated the communication strategy document for the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) process.
Happening today, the Launch Ceremony of the National Dialogue on Linking Gender and Climate Change in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, will bring together 65 experts from sector ministries, civil society organizations, and non-governmental organizations (NGO) to improve the systematic integration of climate change and gender equality into the country’s development planning.
