The Inter-Ministerial Climate Change Coordination Committee (IMCCCC) is composed of Joint Secretaries from 22 federal ministries, the National Planning Commission (NPC), and representatives from the National Academy for Science and Technology. The IMCCCC is responsible for ensuring effective communication and coordination on climate change between government and non-governmental institutions. The committee reports to the Environmental Protection and Climate Change Management National Council (EPCCMNC), which promotes integration of environment and climate change considerations into long-term policies.
