The National Climate Change Coordination Committee, established under the Climate Change Act, is mandated, among other functions, to promote the development, implementation, and monitoring of cross-cutting policies that support the effective application of the Act. While the Committee is composed of representatives from ministries, it also has the flexibility to form consultative groups that enable the meaningful participation of key stakeholders and experts. These may include representatives from the private sector, civil society organizations, youth groups, and vulnerable or at-risk communities.
