The Council of Ministers for Sustainability and Climate Change (CMSCC in Spanish), composed of 14 ministers, provides strategic guidance and ensures policy coherence across Chile’s sustainability and climate agendas. The horizontal coordination promoted by the Council is articulated with other platforms through the Climate Change Law, such as the National Council of Ministers for Sustainability and Climate Change (CNMSCC), which engages academia, civil society, the private sector, workers’ unions, and youth in policy processes, and the Regional Climate Change Committees (CORECC in Spanish), which coordinate strategies and territorial roundtables.
