The National Council for Sustainable Development (NCSD) (taking the responsibilities of the formerly National Climate Change Committee) is a high-level body composed of senior government and provincial representatives. It oversees climate policy, planning, and implementation. The Climate Change Technical Working Group supports the NCSD with technical expertise and coordination across ministries. Engagement with non-government actors—such as development partners, academia, NGOs, and the private sector—is maintained through biennial joint meetings with the Climate Change Technical Working Group.
