The National Climate Change Cabinet (GNCC) is the main means of coordination and communication between the different areas of government for the debate and elaboration of public climate policies. Its structure responds to the need to guarantee an integral, technical-political, representative, and participatory governance scheme, both for national ministerial portfolios and subnational jurisdictions, as well as for civil society, universities and other academic entities, Indigenous Peoples and any person or association interested in getting involved in the subject (Ministry for the Environment and Sustainable Development, 2022, pp.78–79).
